2016 collective makeup haul!

Hi! How's your week been, and how are you? Are you still on Easter holidays? We go back to school after this weekend and we have four CIE (Cambridge International Examinations) exams, which I'm dreading. We also have a history test on the civil rights, an English essay to hand in, a music performance and a science test. Yay :-(

As you've probably guessed from the title, today is a collective makeup haul (whooo) because 2016 has been the year where I've bought lots of makeup, and now I'm happy with my collection and I don't think I'll be buying anymore makeup anytime soon (unless it's like backup concealers, powders and stuff for the summer), although next month when I've saved up more money I might buy another Rimmel Stay Matte powder and a lovely bronzer.

I store all my makeup in two things, the first is a little plant pot from Ikea, it is called SKURAR and I will link it in case you're interested. http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/categories/series/24054/ I also store my makeup in a Bath and Body Works wash bag, which is blue and just says 'Life is better with sprinkles' on it, which unfortunately, I couldn't find, I don't think it's still for sale. but if I do see it online in the future I will let you know.

If you were wondering where I've purchased all this makeup from, then I am going to say when I talk about all the products, but it's basically just from Boots, Debenhams, Carrefour and H&M. I basically only have drugstore makeup in my collection since high end makeup is so expensive, but I would really like the Mac Velvet Teddy lipstick, but I'm going to buy that in the summer at the airport where it's cheaper.

Before I start, I would just like to say that all these opinions are my own and this post is not sponsored. I would also like to say that all these products individually cost under 20 pounds, so they're not too expensive.

Aaaaannnnnyyyyyways, I have done more than enough rambling, so I shall get on with the haul.

The first item is a brush, but it's not just any brush my friends, it is a precision angle concealer brush from H&M that was in the sale (!!!!) and I paid the equivalent to six pounds for it. Not going to lie to you, I thought that was kind of expensive, and so far I've mainly used this brush to dip into the concealer tubes that are almost empty and I want the product from. I have used it to blend a couple times, and I think that my fingers do a better job, if I'm completely honest. The thing I love about this brush is the look of it. It just looks really sleek and lovely and it fits in my makeup tub nicely. If you would like to buy this brush, the link is here: http://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0279860001.html

Item numero dos that I will be discussing is actually five things, I will be talking about five Maybelline New York lipsticks, but not in detail as I plan to do a post solely about them. Altogether, I paid nine pound 14 pence. The colours I have are 112 Ambre Rose, 140 Intense Pink, 148 Summer Pink, 240 Galactic Mauve, and 900 Pink Pop. To make these lipsticks stay longer, I've been putting a bit of the Rimmel Stay Matte powder over it and the job is done, it stays for ages and yesterday my friend complimented me on the colour I was wearing, which was Intense Pink. I store my Maybelline lipsticks in a box that had a candle in, I also store my Baby Lips by Maybelline in there too. I bought all of these from Debenhams in the beauty section, if you were interested. You can view the Maybelline lipsticks here: http://www.maybelline.co.uk/makeup/lip/lipstick.aspx

Moving on, the next thing is a bronzer from H&M. To be honest, I was so disappointed with this bronzer because it was a completely different shade to the tester. I was so annoyed, I will be buying another bronzer soon, I kind of want to try The Body Shop bronzer, but they're quite expensive so I don't know. If you are going to buy one of the H&M bronzers and you have very pale skin, DO NOT buy Golden Honey or darker. They're so dark and pigmented. I do like how shimmery it is though, and I think it will look absolutely gorgeous in the summer with a tan. The packaging of these are cute, they come with a mirror which is quite handy. You can buy a H&M bronzer here: http://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0274160001.html

Another H&M product, I picked up a powder brush, it comes travel size so it fits nicely in a handbag/schoolbag/other bag and it has a thing on it so it's protected. I think this is a great idea and I would definitely recommend it. It looks really nice in my tub,  You can view the brush here: http://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0279747001.html

Moving on, the next thing I had to pick up after watching Zoella's Boots Haul in either January or February, I instantly fell in love and bought it because it looked so so pretty. It is the MaxFactor crème puff blush in the colour 15 Seductive Pink. This is so pigmented, and it has beautiful veining running through it, and it's so shimmery. A little goes a long way with this product. I picked it up from Carrefour in late February, and I just love how pretty it looks. You can view/ purchase the full collection of blushes here: http://www.boots.com/en/Max-Factor-Creme-Puff-Blush_1639993/

Right, now I'll talk to you about a Kabuki Brush from H&M, it's so cute and it's so fluffy, I think I talked about it in my March favourites more in depth, so I won't talk about it so much in this post. I couldn't find the exact brush on the website, so I've linked a similar one: http://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0279678001.html

Next I will talk to you about the last H&M item in this haul, and it is a compact foundation, crème to powder matte finish. It looks lovely on, and if you have oily skin then don't let the matte part scare you, I have oily to dry sensitive skin and it looks fine. This powder is so long lasting, I put it on at 7am and it lasted till 6pm, and I went out and did stuff that day too. It comes with a mirror in the top bit and a sponge in the bottom, I don't really use the sponge anymore that much, but hey ho, I think it's useful anyways. I would definitely recommend this powder to anyone, so if you would like to take a look at it then this is the link: http://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0279618003.html

The next item is in fact a repurchase as the first one I accidently dropped down the stairs and the product inside smashed and I was heartbroken. It is the Rimmel Stay Matte powder, this is amazing and is my holy grail powder. The staying power isn't that great, I put it on at around 5.15 in the mornings before school, top it up at 7am, then it usually stays until 10.30, so I have to re-top it up at lunch time. It is still good though, and if you were just starting out with makeup and wanted a cheap, good powder then this is the one. I was going to pick one up yesterday, but being the complete idiot I am, I forgot. Mine has hit pan, but there's still some left, thankfully, and until I remember to pick another one up I am alternating between stay matte, a number 7 powder, and the H&M one. My shade is 004, sandstorm, and if you would like to take a look at the powders then this is the link:

Right, the next thing is a concealer and it is the Maybelline Fit Me! concealer, and my friends all rave about this concealer so I decided that I would finally pick it up and I've worn it once, it seems really good, it's so creamy and has amazing coverage and stays on your face for a long time. I would recommend this concealer if you were just starting out with makeup and wanted a good, medium to full coverage concealer. Mine is in the shade 15, which is like the lightest one. Righto, the next thing I want to talk to you about is the Maybelline BB cream, 8 in 1 for oily skin. This gives really good coverage, it doesn't slide off and I have oily skin, so this is really good. You only need a little bit of this for your whole face, and it's so easy to blend. Mine's in the shade light, they do three shades, light, medium and dark. The one downside to this BB cream is the smell, it smells like olives and I absolutely hate olives and the smell of them. If you want to find out more about this BB cream then here's the link, just scroll down a bit and it shows you the three choices: http://www.maybelline.com/products/face-makeup/bb-cream.aspx
Now I will tell you about another concealer, this one is the Revlon Colourstay concealer, and to be completely honest with you, I am not a big fan of this concealer, I don't think it gives good coverage, you really have to put quite a few layers on for it to give a coverage, and it goes really cakey on me and it tends to come off. Mine is in the shade 01, pale. It goes dry in the bottle when it's running out too, and the brush kind o deflates. Nevertheless, I have bought this concealer twice, as there was nothing else on offer when I was looking. The link to this is: http://www.boots.com/en/Revlon-ColorStay-8482-Concealer_1312139/

Moving on, I will now talk to you about a foundation. This one is the Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 hour foundation, and let me tell you, it does not last twenty five hours. Not even five when you don't prime your face. It's ok though, it has a buildable coverage, it starts medium and after a few layers it can be built up to full coverage. I don't think this is the best foundation for oily skin, it tends to slide off my face and look quite cakey. I generally have to rub it off in the school bathrooms at lunch time. Mine is in the shade 100, Ivory and the actual foundation contains SPF 20. I actually quite like the smell of this foundation, I think it smells really fresh and nice. If you want to view it then here's the link: http://www.boots.com/en/Rimmel-Lasting-Finish-25hour-Foundation-with-comfort-serum_1150829/
Now I'll talk to you about an amazing primer. It's the Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser lightweight primer, and oh my god. This is just incredible. I cannot stress enough how amazing this is, I would definitely recommend this, it's just the best thing out there. It feels really smooth and really does instantly make your skin look better. You also only need a tiny amount for your skin. I really don't have any negative things to say about this primer. If you would like to purchase this then here's the link: http://www.boots.com/en/Maybelline-New-York-Baby-Skin-Instant-Pore-Eraser-Lightweight-Primer_1416202/
Moving on to eyebrows, I'm going to tell you about the Bourjois Paris Sourcil  Precision eyebrow pencil. I filled in my eyebrows for about six weeks, and then went off it, but this pencil is so good. I still use the brush thing on the end to brush my eyebrows through everyday, but the actual pencil is so good. They have buildable colour (is that the right word?) and are really good, I would recommend this if you wanted to fill in your eyebrows but didn't know what to use. This is the link to it: http://www.boots.com/en/Bourjois-Eyebrow-pencil_1668194/

The very last thing I will be telling you about is another foundation, which is the Maybelline Fit Me foundation. My shade is 115 and it matches the concealer. I really like this foundation because it gives really good coverage and has a lovely finish. It's a lot more long lasting than the Rimmel foundation, and I would definitely recommend this foundation to anyone. I'm terrified too take this foundation anywhere though, in case it smashes, which is a downside, as if it did smash the product would definitely go everywhere. If you would like to view the foundation this is the link: http://www.superdrug.com/Maybelline/Maybelline-Fit-Me-Foundation-Natural-Beige-220/p/498951

That is my massive haul complete, I hope you enjoyed and I will see you soon with another post, toodlepip!
