Torn: book two of the Trylle series review

Hi!
So there's currently 24 hours and 4 minutes until I fly (yes, I'm counting) and I'm so damn excited to go on holiday!!
And I'm also so bad at being organised, I haven't packed anything yet, and this post is way overdue, I should've written it at least six weeks ago.
Hey ho.
That's life. Oh, and by the way, past Alice (June the 30th Alice) has sinusitis, so flying is going to be absolute hell. And if you were wondering, I'm not usually ill every five minutes, I just can't seem to shake this off, and I'm hoping that it doesn't lead to heart problems in the future, as my grandad had a sore throat once and it lead to hundreds of heart problems.
On with the review.
So in the second book we are introduced to a new character, Loki, who not only steals Wendy's heart, but mine too. We get to watch Wendy's character develop and see her make sacrifices for her Kingdom, and we learn about the Vittra kingdom, and the decades old quarrel between them and the Trylle. We also get to see Wendy and Matt's sibling reltoonship grow, Wendy and Finn's relationship crumble, and Wendy and Elora's mother-daughter relationship bloom. Each character has personal things to overcome to come together in this book, and it's honestly worth the buy.

Alice x
